$8,106 is what it takes to fix this damage, apparently:
I can't see it either, but an insurance company wrote this one off. It's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with just under 20 hours left. Highest bid right now is $350. The car is practically brand new and only has 8,868 miles on the clock.

How? They'll end up with a Mitsubishi Mirage.

Plot twist: flood damage.

It would be well documented, so they couldn't turn us away.

It's a Mirage. The damage is that it got released.

flood damage?

I keep saying I want to turn one of these into a little race car.

Is there something underneath? Frame damage maybe?

Flood damage? Anyone wanna run a car fax?

It is branded as having rear collision damage. My guess is that the unibody is massively screwed up.

Weld the doors, add a cage and boom you're done

Despite all the Damned Yankees running around here, Wilmington, NC isn't in New Jersey.

I'm guessing water got in it. Look at the back firewall.

Or the car has so little perceived value that the insurance company didn't want to bother to do the paperwork.

You're seeing just as much as I am.

Rear collision damage. I'm guessing this car was repaired after a bad crash and problems persisted (i.e. Bent frame, maybe even electrical issues.), so the insurance company dumped it...

Maybe the $8106 is what the insurance company would have to pay someone to take it off their hands for them?

What does the Fox say?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

So it's already been fixed and now they're trying to get rid of it- probably because they went to all the trouble of fixing it and then realized nobody wants a Mitsubishi Mirage.
My bet is bidding will end somewhere between $5k and $8k.

That very well could be the case.

Better be a good cage because these things crumple like paper.
